WDM and VXD drivers
This issue only showed up with 44.xx and later drivers. Using 43.45 right now with no problems showing yet. Everything on my system was working fine. The Audigy 2 and the 44.xx drivers were coexisting quite nicely, UNTIL I downloaded and installed the latest Audigy 2 drivers. Then everything promptly went to hell

No, it can't be a WDM function, my card only has MME and ASIO, WDM drivers are not available for it (Lynx ONE card). When I change between MME and ASIO, Sonar asks to reprofile and if I don't let it, Sonar doesn't interact correctly with the card. My apologies Sue! ... it appears to be a WDM and MME function.

Audigy2 - ctoss2k & other driver issues, crashing Windows!
My friend has a Audigy 2 running on XP with CubaseSX 2. The midi works/records fine but it will not record audio using the Audigy ASIO or Creative ASIO drivers. It's impossible for me start over with the old software because when Add me to the list of those having trouble with the Audigy 2/AIW Radeon 9700 Pro combo. I could never get any catalyst drivers beyond 3.9 to work for me, and if I even attempted to play games for more than half an hour to an hour, the game would -the GA-8IPE1000 Pro2 motherboard that I have might be confusing the audigy 2 with the video card as far as IRQ's are concerned...this is a possiblity,

The Audigy2 and most other modern Creative cards should run ok as Soundblaster 100% compatible or Soundblaster Pro 100% compatible under Dos.

WDM and VXD drivers
The motherboard has onboard audio, but I have an Audigy 2 card that I would like to use. Here's my problem: Windows automatically installed the drivers for the onboard audio, but I can't find them to uninstall them in order to install the WDM drivers required for my Audigy 2. Any suggestions? TIA!

Audigy 2 ZS keeps on crashing machine with Windows XP SP1
The driver update went quite smoothly - during the installation it asked me for a file (CTgame .sys) which I found on my Audigy 2 installation CD, and everything seems to be working ok, but.......now my PC takes around 1 min 30 seconds to boot! :(, when it only took around 25 seconds to boot my machine before!
